installing adobe thingys?

lol idk im not to good with computers. so on yahoo mail i wuz trying to do the txt/Im thingy and i swear i installed adobe flash player 5 times and restarts my comp 2 times. and it suggested i uninstall my old adobe software thing (7.0) and i installed the new adobe flash player, and nuthing… i am using internet explorer with windows so yeah,… wut do i do??!!
