Is it possible to transfer all (or at least a good deal) of my files and software from a PC to a Mac?

Adobe Software
I want to get a Macbook for college, however, I have a bunch of old papers, Adobe files, and random software on my PC that I’d need to transfer onto the Mac. Is this possible?
Hmm…upon doing some research I found out that Apple Leopard runs Windows. Does that mean for those few programs that don’t have Mac equivalents, I could run them through this?

Software? No. Unless you run Windows on your Mac (and what would be the point of getting a Mac in that case?), you cannot use your existing software.
All other documents, music, pictures, etc…, can be placed on a Flash drive or CD and copied to your Mac.
Hide Folders
Programs? No. They won’t run undre Mac’s operating system.
Files? Yes, but you must have the Mac version of the software that created them.
It will be a messy process; ask a techy for help.
