What is the best software for a non-specialist to create a sophisticated webpage. Is MS Frontpage the best?

Adobe Software

I want to create a family website with lots of albums and slideshows (using Photostory 3) and some pages for other interests. I am using a Yahoo Pro website I just rented, so I have Frontpage, Dreamweaver and Adobe as alternatives. Which is best? I am a pbase photo website member, incidentally. I don’t know any special programming languages like HTMl but I’m an engineer and not afraid to try, if it is worth the effort. But I would prefer to use the best software that will generate the code, if it is not limiting.

frontpage is not the best, but pretty WYSIWYG What you see is what you get type of editing. There is also another one by NAMO web builder or something…. I use front page but you gotta make sure the code matches up or else some of the text effects and highlights wont work

Look into templated sites, such as those in Geocities Sitemaker.

Or, try using a blog site such as MySpace, Xanga or Blogger.

No need to reinvent the wheel; these sites will walk you through what you want.

  3. Microsoft Word and Microsoft Frontpage are good HTML editers.

If you are new to craeting web-pages. Microsoft Frontpage is by far the best one.
