“graphic design” is a pretty broad spectrum. If you are just looking to edit pictures in photoshop most any computer will do. If you are looking to work with 3d images then you should get something with a more powerfull videocard. Personally i would get the dell XPS 1730 if you can afford it.
But we need a little more information like what screen size you would like to get and how much you are willing to spend.
