What software do newspaper companies use?

Just wondering, what software do companies like “The Sun” and “The Star” use for creating and laying out their newspapers. Maybe it’s something like Adobe InDesign?

    That depends of newspapers, and also today there is bunch of professional software that they could use.
    I know that not long ago main software aplications for newspapers production was InDesign, PageMaker and Illustrator. They also work with Quark Xpress.
