Where can i get Adobe After Effects? How much does it cost? and if it costs alot is there a cheaper thing?

If it costs more then a couple hundred bucks is there a cheaper special effects software out there? if so can someone tell me what it is and give me the price?

    Definitely more than couple hundred bucks! On the Adobe website After Effects CS3 is $999. On Ebay you can get the previous version 7.0 for around $300. If you’ve never used it before, there’s a significant learning curve.
    An alternative might be Adobe Premiere Elements. It goes for $100 or less. It’s basically a video editor but has a number of effects as well.
